Victoria Winters has not written a book so far that I have not enjoyed! I love this story. Victorian Age play story that is well written as well add entertaining. Cressida is a wonderful girl who thinks she is ready to be an adult but is just a little girl at heart.
This story is about a child-woman who just turned 18 but is unable to be responsible for some of her actions. At times, she is shown as a young adult; while, at many times, she acts like a brat and is treated accordingly.
The punishment scenes are very graphic. Discipline is delivered by her governess and Lord Reginald Kenwood, whom she ultimately marries. Though discipline is firm at her father's house, nothing prepares her for the discipline and morning treatments while visiting Lord Kenwood at Christmas time. Enemas are delivered daily and we are treated to an in-depth view of her thoughts, emotions and reactions. Discipline is delivered routinely.
For age-play lovers, this novel was well written with many graphic scenes for our indulgence. For historian lovers, Ms. Winters provides details on various activities which occurred during that era. For readers who share both loves, this book is a MUST READ. Enjoy!!!
Cressida is developmentally delayed and her father compensates for that by keeping her as a child in a nursery, closely supervised by her nanny. Reginald, however, sees her as she is and knows that he can mentor her growth into adulthood and keep her as a child when her “weaknesses” show themselves. I thoroughly enjoyed this story, watching Cressie grow and flourish under her Papa’s firm control. I thrilled when I read she was presented at court and was learning to run her husband’s estate.
This is the continuation of the series, Unconventional Marriages, book 4. It can be read as a standalone story or you can read the whole series to understand thr dynamics.this is a wonderful Victorian Ageplay book. Cressida has a very delicate childhood. Because of this her father keeps her in a Nursey, with a nanny.when she turns 18 she thinks things will change but they don't. Wow, such a great story! I appreciate a well written Victorian age play story and this was perfect. I hope we will see these characters again because I would have enjoyed more of their story after their marriage as well. Nicely done!
I really enjoyed this story that is in the Unconventional Marriages series. This is the story of Cressida and Reginald, who we met in Pleasing Her Peter in the Nursery. You don’t need to have read Pleasing Her, because this is a prequel. But, it does help you understand the dynamics going on. Cressida has been kept a child all her life because she tends towards bouts of depression and she has never learned to listen to that inner voice that tells you to stop speaking. Her father is determined to keep her a child, but Lord Reginald feels that she deserves a chance at a life. So, Cressida comes to Lord Reginald’s house and she finds that the rules there are even stricter than they were at home. But, she finds that she comes to care for Lord Reginald and he comes to care for her. It is very detailed and Cressida gets a lot of punishment. I give this 5 stars.
