I received an ARC of this book for an unbiased opinion. This is the third book in the Stolen Hearts series by Mallory Crowe. I've liked this series and found the characters in this book, Willa Belli and James Weston, interesting. The story continues the saga of trying to bring down a criminal mastermind, Sterling. The plot line was fast paced and kept my attention. The ending was surprising and makes me very interested in reading book four. While this is a stand alone book, it would be better for the reader to have read the previous books.I gave this four stars because I felt as if the author had a deadline and rushed the last 10% of the book. All of a sudden, this particular chapter of the series wrapped up. It was unsatisfying to me as a reader.

I know this is book 3 but the way the book started I felt like I needed to read book 2, like I was missing some key information. Otherwise, great book, good story. Love the characters.
Willa and Weston get their own book. I recommend reading this series in order to avoid major spoilers. While protecting Willa, Weston faces a gunfight, car chase, a bomb, and his own emotions. At the start of the book Willa annoyed me but she grows up as the story progresses.
He is supposed to be helping her after she sees her father kill her new friend who is actually a federal agent. He takes her to his Arizona home to hide her there but trouble follows. This is an action packed story. I sometimes got lost in the plot because of referrals to previous stories.
i voluntarily received an ARC of this book. i fell in love with James Weston the more I read. Willa needed his protection as much from herself as those after her. Sassy,chatty and in his face annoying. Keeping Willa safe while trying not to want her was the hardest job he had ever undertaken. This book was hard to put down and so enjoyable. Bring on the next in this wonderful series.
Willa watches as her father kills a federal agent and goes on the run. She's running with the help of James Weston, trying to stay away from her father. After a lot of suspense and harrowing escapes, she goes back to her father, trying to get something on him that she can use to get him arrested. It doesn't quite work out that way, but she does come away with the love of her life. She and James get their HEA.
First it was really hard to feel an y connect with the heroine or feel any sympathy or care about her perfect tiny figure, her workout routine so stay tiny,1 lettuce and egg white diet, the stylish blonde streaks in her hair, not to mention she's totally rich, totally spoiled and has a... <wait for it>... high school education. So we have one conversation in a what, 2-3 day trip from Chicago to Arizona. THEN she runs away from the ranch house because... <wait for it> .... he won't take her shopping and expects her to wash her dirty clothes in the washer and dryer. God forbid. So THEN, lessee, Daddy's a mobster or something so she goes back (having seen him shoot her friend in front of her) and pretends to be expecting to be the mobstress daughter all involved in the business so she can get evidence to put him away. excuse me? Can we get ANY more stupid here? I would at that point have LOVED to have seen Darwinism in action and had the mob daddy put an end to her gene pool.
What did I think, well let me tell you from book 1 (The Cocky Thief), book 2 (The Beautiful Thief) to this one book 3 ( The Dangerous Thief) all the men in these are just as hot, hot, hot and dangerous as their female counter parts.
So let's begin Willa Belli was the typical trust account child, who got whatever she wanted and just like every other trust account child she could party like the others. Only difference was when Willa found out how her father made his money she had also witnessed the killing of one of her best friends. Who was the person behind it no one other than he own father.
Enter James Weston who was assigned to look after her, he was every woman's dream man and also an ex hit man and now been brought on as her body guard. Here is where she meets the rest of the Murray sisters who are in this to revenge the death of their mother for those who have kept up with this series you will know when her mother died.
Even though the Murray's have the best thieves and hacker in their family only one person can get close to Jadon Belli, Willa his own daughter could do that. Of cause James wasn't going to like that, but Willa herself was willing to take her own father down and with the best teachers who could teach her the tricks of how to move about and keep away from cameras and how long it would take for her to break into a safe, she was the right girl for the job.
James Weston was the kind of man you could melt all over, but is he the kind of man you could trust? Most important could Willa survive what she was about to get involved in? Who will meet their demise this time? In order for you to find out you will have to read this part, I promise you, you will not be disappointed, you can count on Mallory to keep it action packed.
Am I being vague, of cause I am and always will be in my reviews, after all I can't tell the whole story for you can I....Please enjoy I know I did.
