Tess Rogers grew up in the midst of chaos and uncertainty, but she always knew one thing to be true—one day six hundred acres of prime farmland would be hers. Then she discovers not even that truth can be counted on. Tess's stepfather has kept important secrets, and Tess's dream of breeding a line of organic dairy cows suddenly goes up in a burst of smoke and flame.

R. Clayton Sutter is an expert at managing just about anything—money, businesses, and people. Getting NorthAm Fuel's newest shale refinery operational in the rolling hills of Upstate New York shouldn’t be much of a challenge, but then, she hadn't counted on dealing with vandalism, petitions, and a woman she’d never expected to see again—one who still haunts her dreams.

When Tess and Clay square off on opposite sides of the heated debate, past and present collide in a battle of wills and unbidden desire.

Homestead edition by Radclyffe Literature Fiction eBooks

Radclyffe has done it again. Well developed plot. Clay and Tess were very sexy and their history was both passionate and poignant at best. They were teenagers when their world fell apart and stayed that way till they met again 15 years later. Their story picked up where they left off. Very well done!

Homestead edition by Radclyffe Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

Another well written book by Radclyfe. Well paced and easy read with a nice mixture of action, romance and angst. It's always difficult to go home but Radclyfe makes this trip worthwhile. I regularly look for her next work and would always recommend her fiction!
I ave read most of Radclyfe's novels. I would not rank this one in the top 10 but certainly worth reading. If you enjoy her work, I think you, too, will find this one worth buying.
Radclyfee mastered the dread of coming back home that many feel after trying to escape as well as the sense of belonging and the pull that tends to bring many back home. I loved the setting of the story as well as the characters and story line. Beautifully written. I can imagine the beauty of this farm and yearn to claim a piece of land for myself.
I have read most all of Radcliffe's books. I liked this one, but didn't love it. I would still recommend it! Characters are always well developed and there is the build up, before going to bed. Enjoyed it.
I love her books but this one left too many issues open at the end and then just ended. It was nice to have tied to her other book with Leslie and Dev (Where Dreams Tremble or something like that). Great concept that left a lot to be desired in the end.
I really love Radclyffe books. Anything she has available in kindle and audible, I probably have purchased.
If you enjoy romance and sexy times, give her books a read. Some people think they formulaic but I read them for entertainment. If I want heavy material, I'll read current politics.
Have read other books by this author, some great, others not so much. But I am never going to enjoy a book that tries to put a positive spin on fracking! Kept waiting for the part where it stopped reading like a gas industry public relations brochure...it didnt.
